Trump’s extreme vetting threatens travel to the United States. Tourists spent over $216,000,000,000 (that’s $216 billion) coming to visit.
According to the Wall Street Journal, the proposed extreme vetting ideas of this extreme administration include tourists forced to disclose:
1) Contacts on their mobile phone.
2) Social media passwords.
3) Financial records.
4) Answer probing questions about their ideology.
This will apply to people traveling under passports from even our closest allies such as Germany and France.
It will take so many more government employees to accomplish this task. I wonder if this is what Trump meant when he said he’d create lots of jobs.
